Most beginners mark every wick. Useful levels usually sit where price has reacted more than once and where other participants already care. In our Foundation Levels Workshop we start with higher-timeframe swings, then only add intraday detail when it confirms the same zone.
A practical filter: if you can remove a line and the story of the chart stays clear, the line was decoration. Keep the few marks that change how you would wait, enter, or stand aside.
When you journal, write why the level matters in one sentence. If you cannot explain it without pointing at the screen, the mark is not ready for a workshop drill.
